What You'll be doing:- Process Execution & Documentation: Assist in developing, documenting, and maintaining accounting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP, NAIC Statutory and company policies. - Collaboration: Work effectively with team members across global locations and functions. - Audit Support: Provide information and documentation for internal and external audits as requested. - Issue Resolution: Identify and help resolve routine issues, escalating complex matters to management. - Change Management & Continuous Improvement: Support process enhancements and stay updated on accounting practices and technologies. - Operational Support: Participate in financial close and reporting activities, ensuring adherence to internal controls. - Process Excellence: Suggest improvements and support automation initiatives. - Risks & Controls / Process Excellence - Support the execution of well-controlled processes, focusing on established controls. - Seek opportunities to automate controls and improve efficiency. - Assist in maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation. - Contribute to workflow optimization and technology adoption as directedRequirements:- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field. - 5-8 years of experience in financial accounting or operations. - Basic understanding of US GAAP reporting (required). - General knowledge of US NAIC statutory reporting (preferred, not required). - Experience in insurance or healthcare accounting (preferred, not required). - Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite) and reporting tools (Hyperion, Oracle EPM) (required). - Familiarity with Tableau, PowerBi, SQL, Alteryx, Python/R, and Workiva (preferred). - Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. - Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and support a culture of continuous improvement.
