The company's vision is to establish India as a significant player in the global semiconductor industry.Role Description:This is a full-time on-site role for a Team Lead - Power Electronics System Design, based in Bengaluru. Develop High-Power, high-quality Power Electronics systems. Build highly competent and productive Power Electronics system design team. Collaborate with other stake holders to bring best-in class designs to manufacturingKey Deliverables:· Review design requests, determine the topology, technology needs, value proposition.· Prepare Project Specifications from field requirements and get buy-in from key stakeholders.· Review of Design Calculations and estimate of Power loss in the components. · Review of Schematics, Layout and review and revision maintenance on Altium/Pads.· Test plan Definition and Review for Performance testing and Validation of the Design · Conduct periodic design reviews, DFMEA and other similar processes to ensure high quality of designs.· Implement Workflow policies & Processes for the team in terms of Design, Review, Documentation and Lab facilities. · Program management for Multiple Projects to meet the project timelines.· Team management to maintain high morale and productivity. Manage budgets for the GAC team and assets· Create a collaborative work culture for the team and foster positive work conditions -Collaborate with Suppliers, Vendors, Design houses, SMEs to aid the Overall Design development. Qualificationso Familiarity with key Power topologies including but not limited like LLC, DAB, CLLLC, Totem Pole etc., o Familiarity with High Power switching devices such as MosFETs, IGBTs, Diodes, SiC and GaNo Knowledge about Design of Magnetics, Thermal Management systems, Heat sinks o Good theoretical understanding of Digital Compensation for power topologies, Control schemes for Motor control like FOC, SVPWM, Field weakening etc., o Experience in working with Embedded and software Engineers on 16-bit, 32-bit microcontrollers especially for Motor control and Digital Power applications. o Experience in model-based Development methodologies using MATLAB, PLECS, PSIM kind of toolsets. o Knowledge of PCB design and PCB Review to address noise Immunity, Component Trade-offs, EMI compliance. o Team Management experience - Leadership and Good People Management skills towards effective Resource utilization, guidance and Empowerment of the team members. o Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.How to apply (Applications not following these guidelines will not be considered as we need to spend a lot of time screening)1.
