Job Title: Healthcare CCDA and FHIR SMELocation: Chennai & Pune (Hybrid)Job Type: Full-TimeShift Timings: 2 - 11 PMRole Overview:We are seeking a Healthcare CCDA and FHIR Subject Matter Expert (SME) with hands-on experience in loading, transforming, and validating CCDA and FHIR data within clinical data repositories. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards, data integration patterns, and data quality frameworks, playing a key role in enabling seamless exchange and ingestion of clinical data across systems.Key Responsibilities:- CCDA and FHIR Data Expertise: - Lead the ingestion, parsing, and transformation of CCDA and FHIR resources into enterprise data platforms or Clinical Data Repositories (CDR). - Map and validate CCDA elements (e.g., encounters, allergies, medications, immunizations) to FHIR resources. - Data Integration and Loading: - Design and implement data pipelines to load structured and semi-structured healthcare data (CCDA, FHIR, HL7) into target systems. - Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to ensure efficient and scalable ingestion processes. - Data Quality and Validation: - Establish validation rules and perform conformance testing for FHIR and CCDA payloads. - Ensure compliance with interoperability standards and clinical data governance frameworks. - Collaboration and SME Support: - Partner with product, engineering, and clinical informatics teams to define data models and mapping strategies. - Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for ingestion and data transformation issues. - Stay updated with HL7, US Core FHIR, and ONC interoperability regulations.Required Skills & Qualifications:- 8+ years of experience in healthcare data integration, interoperability, or clinical data management. - Strong hands-on experience with CCDA parsing, validation, and ingestion processes. - Deep knowledge of FHIR resource structures, US Core profiles, and RESTful API interactions. - Experience working with FHIR servers (e.g., HAPI FHIR, InterSystems IRIS, or equivalent). - Proficiency in SQL, Python, or data transformation tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Dataflow, or Spark). - Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and healthcare data pipelines. - Strong understanding of HIPAA, PHI, and healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, CCD, C-CDA, FHIR). - Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
