Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Snowflake Database Administrator DBA to join our team The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Data Warehousing fundamentals and concepts with a proven track record in Snowflake administrationKey ResponsibilitiesDatabase Management Oversee and manage Snowflake databases including user management security management performance tuning high availability space management and backup recovery processesAutomation Implement and support automation for production deployments in Snowflake Automate database administration tasks using PLSQL shell scripts and other relevant scripting languagesTroubleshooting Diagnose and resolve Snowflake database errors ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to servicesSecurity Implement and enforce data encryption decryption and masking policies to protect sensitive PIIPCI data Conduct regular user security audits to ensure compliance with organizational policiesPerformance Optimization Demonstrate proficiency in index design query plan optimization and analysis to enhance database performance Tune Snowflake databases to optimize query performanceCapacity Planning Create and maintain Snowflake utilization and capacity plans to ensure efficient resource usage and scalabilityScripting and Automation Develop scripts and workflows using languages such as Python and PowerShell as well as automation tools like Ansible and Terraform to streamline database provisioning configuration and maintenance tasksMonitoring and implement automated monitoring and systems to proactively identify and address performance issues security vulnerabilities and other database related concernsExperience: 5 to 8 YearsQualificationsSnowflake DBA AWS SQL ETL concepts Airflow or any orchestration tools Data Warehousing conceptsProficiency in scripting languages e.g. Python Shell and automation tools e.g. Ansible TerraformExperience in database performance tuning security management and automationAbility to diagnose and troubleshoot database issues effectivelyExcellent problem solving and communication skillsLooking for talents who can join us within 15 days.
