We are seeking an Institutional Equity Dealer/ Sales Trader (Institutional Equities) to manage and execute trades across market segments for a diverse set of institutional clients including AMCs, DIIs, FIIs, Insurance Companies, and DFIs. The role demands strong market awareness, a solid grip on trading strategies, and the ability to work seamlessly in a fast-paced, execution-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities:Client Relationship Management- Build and manage relationships with institutional clients - including mutual funds, pension funds, insurance companies, domestic and foreign institutional investors (DIIs / FIIs), banks, AMCs, and other large investors. - Serve as a primary contact for institutional clients, deliver personalized advice, share firm research, investment ideas, market strategies and timely updates on trends. - Maintain and grow share-of-wallet from existing clients, and proactively pitch to expand the client base leveraging professional networks.Trading & Execution- Execute trades in equities (cash segment), including various order types - market orders, limit orders, volume-based orders, basket orders. - Monitor and manage client trading activity to ensure accurate and timely order execution. - Advise clients on market liquidity, trade strategies, pricing, and optimal execution to maximize opportunities. - Identify profitable trading opportunities for clients based on market knowledge and trends.Business Development & Sales Growth- Source new institutional clients and drive new sales opportunities within the institutional segment. - Execute block trades where needed to meet client needs and enhance liquidity solutions.Support & Coordination- Coordinate with back-office for end-of-day activities, trade settlements, etc. - Work closely with senior traders, sales team, research, and trading desks to deliver best-in-class client service and trade execution. - Show responsiveness, eagerness to learn and grow within equity sales/trading.Risk Management & Compliance- Ensure all trading activity complies with internal risk protocols and regulatory requirements. - Maintain up-to-date understanding of market regulations, compliance standards, and best practices.Why You’ll Love Working HereWe’re a team that hustles - plain and simple.
