Job Description

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintainbackend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. Build, enhance, and supportworkflow applications in Appian, including process models, interfaces, decisions, rules, and integrations. Develop, optimize, and maintainBigQuery SQL queries, data models, and analytical datasets to support scalable data operations. Build and maintaindbt transformation pipelines, including models, tests, documentation, and version-controlled repositories. Integrate workflowsacross Appian applications, Java-based services, and BigQuery datasets. Participate in code reviewsand ensure adherence to engineering best practices and coding standards. Troubleshoot and resolvecomplex issues across backend logic, Appian workflows, integrations, and data pipelines. Collaborate cross-functionallywith product, data engineering, QA, and architecture teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.Required Qualifications 5+ years of experiencein backend development using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices. Hands-on Appian experience , including building and deploying process models, interfaces, integrations, and related components. Strong proficiency in Google BigQuery , including advanced SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning. Practical experience with dbt , including developing transformation models, implementing tests, maintaining documentation, and managing version control. Solid understanding of CI/CD , automated testing frameworks, and Git-based version control systems. Experience in cloud environments(GCP preferred; equivalent cloud experience acceptable). Strong knowledge of data integration , API-driven architecture, and modern engineering practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillswith high attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skillsfor working effectively in cross-functional teams.
