Job Description

Job Purpose:We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized legal or para-legal candidate to support the Legal team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date legal records and documentation. The role will be primarily responsible for managing legal records, contracts, property-related documents and approvals, ensuring compliance with statutory and internal documentation requirements.Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and update physical and digital records of all legal documents including agreements, contracts, property papers, approvals, litigation files, notices, and correspondence. - Ensure systematic indexing, retrieval, and archival of legal documents. - Co-ordinate with internal teams (Projects, Debt, Finance, Sales, etc.) for record submission and filing. - Track key legal deadlines (renewals, expiries, court dates, etc.) and maintain status trackers. - Assist in due diligence processes by providing required legal documentation. - Maintain confidentiality, security and integrity of all legal data and files. - Support the legal team in documentation for regulatory filings, audits, and litigation cases. - Ensure all documents are properly scanned, stored, and backed up in compliance with company policy. - Coordinate with external legal counsel for information exchange and documentation as required. - Prepare and submit periodic reports and summaries of legal record status to the GC – Real Estate.Qualifications and Work Experience:- Graduate (preferably in Law, Commerce, or related fields). - 2–4 years of experience in legal documentation or record keeping, preferably in the real estate sector. - Familiarity with property documents, contracts, RERA, and other real estate regulatory filings is an advantage. - Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and document management tools. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:- Experience in maintaining compliance registers and legal MIS. - Understanding of real estate laws and property documentation. - Ability to multi-task and meet tight timelines. - Fluency in English and Kannda is required. Fluency in Hindi, Marathi and any other language would be an added advantage.
