If you love tinkering with hardware, ensuring IT infrastructure runs like a well-oiled machine, and enjoy solving technical puzzles, then this role is for you!What This Role Involves- If you’ve explained “Did you try turning it off and on again?” more times than you can count — and still believe in it, this is for you. - If your idea of a workout is hauling desktops across the office and doing squats while fixing under-the-desk wiring, this is for you. - If you love to be part of a space tech company where the only thing cooler than rocket science itself is keeping the systems that build rockets running, this is for you.As a Systems Administrator, you will take charge of our IT hardware ecosystem, ensuring seamless connectivity, security, and efficiency to support cutting-edge aerospace engineering.What You Will Be Doing:- Setting up, configuring, and maintaining IT hardware – servers, workstations, networking devices, and more. - Managing system backups, data recovery, and disaster recovery plans. - Monitoring system performance and resolving issues before they become problems. - Implementing cybersecurity best practices to protect our data and IT infrastructure. - Managing user access controls, permissions, and account provisioning. - Keeping an inventory of IT assets and planning hardware upgrades. - Providing technical support and training to team members. - Working with vendors and service providers to ensure smooth IT operations. - Documenting IT policies, procedures, and best practices.What You Need To Have:- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience). - Some experience in system administration or IT support. - Strong expertise in Windows, Linux, and/or macOS environments. - Hands-on experience with networking hardware and protocols (firewalls, switches, VPNs and Wi-Fi). - A solid understanding of IT security principles and best practices. - Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus. - A knack for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues quickly. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - The ability to work independently in a high-paced startup environment - Ability to work extended hours as neededWhat You Get:- A front-row seat to India’s space revolution. - Competitive salary and benefits. - The chance to build IT infrastructure from the ground up. - A workplace where innovation is encouraged and mistakes are seen as learning opportunities. - A passionate, mission-driven team that loves what they do.Location: Agnikul : Chennai, IndiaJob Type: Full-Time, On-Site
