Job Description

Roles and responsibilities:Identify, pitch, and close licensing opportunities with OTT platforms, broadcasters, publishers, agencies, and digital partners.Negotiate licensing agreements, pricing models, and usage rights.Maintain strong relationships with existing partners and develop new strategic partnerships.Build and manage a sales pipeline for content monetization across domestic and international markets.Drive quarterly and annual revenue targets through effective deal closures.Collaborate with finance and legal teams to finalize commercial terms.Assess market trends, competitor offerings, and platform requirements.Recommend content packages and pricing strategies to maximize revenue.Work closely with content and product teams to create sellable content bundles.Ensure accurate documentation of rights, territories, exclusivity, and timelines.Monitor contract compliance and partner usage.Coordinate with internal teams for content delivery and metadata requirements.Work with marketing, legal, and operations teams to support sales activities.Provide insights to leadership on revenue performance, market feedback, and growth opportunities.Qualifications:Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) from a Tier-1 B-school2+ years of experience in content sales, licensing, media partnerships, or digital distribution.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Understanding of OTT, media networks, digital publishing, and content rights.Ability to manage multiple deals and stakeholders simultaneously.Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting BenefitsUnlimited paid leave.Full health insurance for individualsDedicated wellness leaves for female employees.Free Unlimited SnacksBe part of a rapidly growing company with a proven track record of 6X growth over the last five years, offering immense opportunities for career advancement.About the CompanyWe’re a Gen-Z-focused full-stack entertainment company curating content for audience through culturally relevant content on OTT platforms like Amazon MX Player, JioHotstar and on our YT Channel "Alright" which is 3.6 Mn+ subscriber strong by (a) in show integrations / product placements, (b) targeted video ads on platform, (c) influencer campaign with show's cast.Rusk Studios:Curating scripted fiction – drama, romance, comedy for top OTT platforms like School Friends, Heartbeats at Amazon MX Player, Ishq Next Door on JioHotstar.Playground (Amazon MX): Founded in 2022, Playground (PG) is Category first pop-culture gaming entertainment show garnering 2B+ views (per season), across 30M+ unique viewers ( 18-24 media dark comprising 65% of that) and has successfully completed 4 seasons.
