andmanagement decision making through business partneringThe successful candidate will join a growing team of Finance professionals within our Mumabi office but also be an integral part of the global Finance community.ResponsibilitiesData management and analysisManage and analyze large, complex, and inconsistent datasets across multiple systems and geographies to support financial planning and analysis.Contribute standardization and automation of financial processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and data integrity across business units.Integrate data from Finance (SAP S/4 HANA), HR (SuccessFactors), Sales (Salesforce), and Operations (various systems) to support holistic Commercial Finance processes and cross-functional decision-making.Collaborate with SAP Analytics Cloud Business Intelligence (SAC BI) team to design and maintain dashboards and reporting systems that deliver clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders.Develop scalable financial models that support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning.Utilize strong analytical skills to identify trends, drivers and opportunities, developing actionable insights to inform decision making.Management Reporting Aggregate monthly results, analyze variances and provide detailed analysis.Provide detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis of movements in staff costs by reference to the Full Time Equivalent (FTE) Direct staff and the Average Cost per FTE, explaining movements in the latter by reference to detailed mix analysis of the location and grade of staff and the average cost of staff per grade/location.Explain external third party costs by reference to the nature of these costs e.g. Affiliate spend, external professional fees, government fees, customer rebates, bad debts expenses etcProactively identify and facilitate efforts to enhance gross profit margins through cost reduction initiativesInformation AccuracyMonitor Direct Costs to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.Interact with Controllership teams, at group-level and in countries, to ensure completeness and accuracy of underlying management information.Support intercompany transactions, working closely with group-wide Finance and Commercial Finance managers.Ensure profit and cost centers are properly applied, all variances vis-a-vis the budget and forecast explained; monitor integrity of selected intercompany rechargesSupport the production of management reports, ensuring that the financial information presented is accurate and consistent across reports; propose enhancements to the way the information is presentedBudgeting & ForecastingPartner with Commercial Finance colleagues in designing the budget process, specifically for Gross Margin/ Direct Costs, and play a pivotal role in the organization and execution of budgeting activitiesSupport Budgeting and Forecasting activities for Direct Costs and ensure cost projections are in line with revenue forecasts.Business Partnering Provide timely and accurate financial information to management, enabling data-driven decision making and driving business outcomes, lead review meetings.In addition to the provision of data and reports the successful candidate will be expected to provide value-added insights including recommendations to optimize business performance – this is not a role where simply providing raw data will suffice.Develop solid relationships with local Commercial Finance team members across Asia, Europe and US as well as the broader finance community.Support in providing ad hoc information and analysis as requested.Requirements:1-3 years of experience in FP&A or Commercial Finance.Post graduate degree or above in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field; MBA or qualified accountant preferredExtensive experience working with financial planning and reporting systems; familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA and SAC Business Intelligence (SAC BI) advantageousProcess driven and tech-savvy, with ability to learn quickly new applications, new technologies and assess how to best leverage a group of functional systems (HR, sales etc.) to support Commercial Finance processesStrong attention to detail, data integrity and accuracyAnalytical mindset and process orientedRobust analytical skills, with ability to build large financial modelsAdvanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, macros, financial modeling) and MS PowerPointExcellent communication and strong stakeholder management and coordination skills to work with global stakeholders.Ability to work under strict timelines and to effectively manage a team to meet deliverables deadlines.Fluency in English, both verbal as well as writtenThis role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and execution of the company's planning and reporting processes.
