Job Title:Project Engineer Location:Bangalore, Karnataka, India Employment Type:Full-time About the Role We at Aldecor are looking for a proactiveProject Engineerto support the planning, coordination, and execution of interior fit-out and civil projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining seamless coordination among multiple stakeholders. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Planning & Execution Assist in preparing project schedules, milestones, and resource plans with the Project Manager. Oversee site execution acrosscivil, interior, and MEP works , ensuring alignment with drawings and BOQs. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and manpower productivity to minimize rework and delays. Conduct regular site and coordination meetings with engineers, supervisors, and contractors. 2. Stakeholder Coordination Act as a bridge between theProject Manager, consultants, and clientsfor smooth communication. Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, and vendors for design clarifications and approvals. Manage client expectations, address concerns, and share timely progress updates. 3. Quality & Compliance Review shop drawings, material submittals, and mock-ups before execution. Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and statutory codes. EnforceEHS (Environment, Health & Safety)regulations and report any site safety issues. 4. Monitoring & Reporting Maintain detailed reports on project progress, material usage, and site challenges. Track project schedules against baselines and recommend corrective measures. Prepare MIS reports, change orders, RFIs, and documentation for billing support. 5. Vendor & Subcontractor Management Oversee subcontractor performance and verify deliverables. Track material deliveries and ensure compliance with technical specifications. Support vendor negotiations and verify contractor bills against site progress. 6. Risk Management Identify potential risks such as design conflicts or material shortages and implement preventive measures. Resolve on-site issues swiftly in coordination with the Project Manager. Daily Activities Review daily reports from Site Engineers and consolidate for management. Conduct morning briefings with supervisors and subcontractors. Inspect site work for quality, design adherence, and safety compliance. Track material inflows, vendor coordination, and manpower allocation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Engineering, or related field. 3-4 years of experience ininterior fit-out or construction project execution . Strong understanding of drawings, BOQs, and project documentation. Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication skills.
