As a Localization Engineer – PC, you’ll ensure global readiness of PC products by enabling seamless localization workflows, technical integration, and automation.Responsibilities- Prepare, analyze, and process files for translation across PC titles. - Build and maintain scripts/tools to automate localization workflows. - Collaborate with linguists, PMs, and developers to integrate localized assets. - Troubleshoot encoding, formatting, and file conversion issues. - Validate localized builds and ensure proper implementation. - Maintain documentation for tools, workflows, and processes.Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s preferred. - 2–4+ years in localization engineering or related technical role. - Strong understanding of localization workflows and file formats (JSON, XML, CSV). - Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell). - Experience with debugging encoding and automation issues. - Familiarity with Git or version control tools. - Experience in PC software or game development is a plus.Tech Stack- Languages: Python, Bash/PowerShell. - Formats: JSON, XML, CSV, HTML, YAML. - Tools: Git, Jenkins/CI - Environment: Windows/PC pipelines. - Nice to Have: build automation tools.
