The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience managing production MySQL environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of database systems.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support production MySQL databases (MySQL / Percona / MariaDB)Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, and migrationsHandle backup & recovery, including PITR, replication, clustering, and HA setupsPerform query optimization, indexing, and performance tuningMonitor database health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, PMM, or DatadogAutomate regular DBA and maintenance activities using Ansible or PuppetTroubleshoot database and infrastructure-related issuesWork closely with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teamsPrepare and maintain technical documentation and runbooksMentor junior DBAs and contribute to continuous process improvement
