About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer to enhance our customer engagement capabilities by leading the upgrade from Legacy Chat to Enhanced Chat. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales Cloud, along with a strong understanding of Omni-Channel and Live Agent functionalities.This role requires deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, HTML, SOQL, and SOSL, with the ability to design and deliver scalable, high-quality Salesforce solutions that improve customer experience and business outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, SOAP, and REST APIsLead the migration from Legacy Chat to Enhanced Chat, ensuring a seamless experience for both users and customersConfigure and optimize Omni-Channel and Omni-Flow to improve customer service routing and response timesDevelop, configure, and customize Service Cloud and Sales Cloud features, including case management, chat setup, and integrationsPerform deployment, testing, documentation, and post-release support for Salesforce enhancements and integrationsCollaborate closely with product owners, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to define and implement functional and non-functional requirementsInvestigate, scope, and plan assigned epics and backlog items, proposing scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutionsDebug and resolve production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixesParticipate in technical design reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussionsUphold high standards of code quality through best practices, code reviews, and unit test coverageTrain and support end-users to ensure successful adoption of Salesforce featuresDesired OutcomesSuccessfully deliver the Legacy Chat to Enhanced Chat migration within Service Cloud and Sales CloudDesign and deploy Enhanced Chat configurations, including Omni-Channel and Omni-Flow, to optimize customer engagement and routing efficiencyMaintain high standards for quality, performance, scalability, and documentation across all Salesforce implementationsRequirements5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning (LWC/Aura), JavaScript, HTML, SOQL, and REST/SOAP APIs2+ years of experience building and maintaining Flows2+ years of experience with Omni-Channel and Live Agent Chat2+ years of experience working with Sales Cloud and Service CloudStrong understanding of Salesforce best practices, governor limits, and performance optimizationEducation & CertificationsBachelor’s degree (or equivalent), preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical EngineeringSalesforce Platform Developer I (required)Salesforce App Builder (required)Salesforce Platform Developer II (preferred)Salesforce Administrator (preferred)Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant (preferred)Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant (preferred)Attributes & CharacteristicsWrites clean, correct, and maintainable code, consistently following best practicesUnderstands how individual contributions align with team and company objectivesEffectively prioritizes tasks and focuses on what matters mostCommunicates assumptions clearly and seeks clarification early to reduce reworkActively seeks and provides constructive feedback to peers and managersCollaborative, proactive, and ownership-driven mindset
