Our extensive product offering includes semiconductors, interconnects, passives, and electromechanical components with 22 locations located strategically around the globe.JOB DESCRIPTIONMouser Electronics is seeking full time Web QA Analyst, to create and implement test cases, including documenting defects and failures, to ensure the integrity of a quality product.ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSWorks directly with software developers, product managers, and content editors to evaluate and test new or modified software programs, communicate status, follow software development procedures to ensure that programs function according to user requirements and established guidelinesWrites, revises and verifies quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation to attain (maintain) quality of softwareMake recommendations for program improvements or correctionsExhibits leadership skills while coach & mentoring team members on executing manual tests.SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONSKnowledge/hands on experience in C# / .Net and how to QA in multiple browser environments, preferably from E-Commerce industryHighly organized with the ability to multitask. Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Including the ability to communicate with people at all levelsExhibits strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and teaching skillsUses sound judgement to identify issues and escalates, when appropriateTesting knowledge in multiple browser/API/Environments/Stress/Load/PerformanceKnowledge / Understanding of software development lifecycleKnowledge / Understanding of reviewing requirement documents, to ensure the requirements are achievedKnowledge / Understanding in validating the user expectations are achieved, during the testing processKnowledge / Understanding in SQL 2016 or aboveKnowledge / Understanding on testing different types of software products, system architectures, OS platforms and languages desiredAbility to work independently with team and cross function teamsWell organized and self-motivated with a strong attention to details and ability to multitaskAccepts the changes positively and help others to adapt to changeFlexible to work nights and weekends, as per business needsWorking as part of a team of QA analysts within a larger operations group, this position will assure the quality of the code and changes released into the production environment for multiple high volume eCommerce and back office applications managed by the Internet Business DepartmentTo succeed in this role the incumbent will need to identify and resolve QA related issues in a timely manner, to record and report issues before they reach productionCollaborate with developers and analysts on test case design and best practices in the testing and development of new functionality and maintaining and improving existing systemsExperience with SAFe Agile processes in a fast paced environment is essentialHighly effective in interacting with individuals and groups inside the organization with excellent verbal and non-verbal communication etiquetteHard core experience in SQL 2016 or aboveMinimum Highly Effective performance overall.Team subject matter expert.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline is mandatory5+ years of Automation Testing experience required.Internal candidates:Experience can be a combination of internal and external experience.Minimum Highly Effective performance in current role, andGood knowledge on Web Development is a plusGood knowledge on CI/CD with Azure DevOps is desired
