Title: Lead Application Engineer - Power Conversion ExpertWork Location: BangaloreExperience: 8 + yearsPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Embedded Power Conversion Solution Snr Engineer to join our dynamic team in the semiconductor industry. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to drive the design and implementation of innovative embedded solutions that align with our business objectives and enhance our product offerings. As an Embedded Power Conversion Solution Snr Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and product management to develop solution as per requirement.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in embedded systems and a strong understanding of hardware-software interactions, algorithm design, and debugging techniques. You will also be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and enhance the performance of existing Solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically adept professional who is passionate about innovation in the semiconductor field and eager to make a significant impact in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Roles & ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop embedded solutions for Intelligent Power Module and Power conversion application.Develop customer enablement package for Power Module, Power conversion and Motor control application Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define solution requirements and specifications.Define end customer use cases for the SoC in Module, Motor control and power conversion application.Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams.Develop Simulation model for power devices and power conversion topologies.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's/master’s degree in electrical engineering/Power Electronics or a related field.8+ years of experience in Power electronics field, 5+ years of experience in embedded application development, preferably in the semiconductor industry.Proficiency in C/C++ programming language.Good in fundamental of power electronics, motor control and power conversion applicationsStrong knowledge of microcontrollers, ARM and RISC V architecture, and firmware developmentFamiliarity with hardware design and schematics, should be able to design motor control and power conversion system application.Experience with simulation tools such as MATLAB PSIM, PLCES, debugging environments and waveform analysis.Understanding of Intelligent Power Module, Power switching device based SIC, GAN and IGBT technology.Understanding of high-power high voltage inverter and motor control system solution design.Understanding of power loss equations in power switching devices.Hands on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Git, Bitbucket etc.Mandatory SkillsFundamental knowledge of Power electronics and power devices, its characteristics and loss calculations. Hands on experience in developing Embedded solution of power applicationsHands on experience with Simulation tools such MATLAB, PSIM, PLCESHands on experience in developing c-code for power electronics system control algorithm.
