Job Description

We are looking for a Fundraising Lead to own and drive our capital-raising efforts for the Indian startup ecosystem. This role will work closely with the founder(s) to shape the fundraising narrative, manage investor outreach, and run the end-to-end fundraising process from preparation to close.This is a hands-on role suited for someone who understands how Indian VCs think, has supported or led early-stage raises (pre-seed to Series A), and can operate independently.Key Responsibilities:Fundraising Strategy & ReadinessDefine fundraising strategy (stage, amount, target investor profile)Help refine the equity story, positioning, and investor narrativePrepare and review pitch deck, financial model, and key metricsSet up and manage the data room (cap table, traction, docs)Investor Outreach & Pipeline ManagementBuild a targeted list of India-focused angels, seed funds, and VCsLead warm and cold outreach (email, LinkedIn, founder intros)Manage investor CRM and track conversations, feedback, and next stepsCoordinate meetings, follow-ups, and partner discussionsDiligence & ClosingSupport due diligence (metrics, references, documentation)Coordinate term sheet discussions with foundersHelp move investors from interest → commitment → closeFounder SupportCoach founders on pitch delivery and investor Q&APrepare weekly investor updates during active raiseAct as a thought partner on valuation, dilution, and timelinesIdeal Candidate Profile:-3–8 years experience in:Startup fundraising, VC, PE, IB, or early-stage startup opsDirect exposure to Indian startup fundraising (pre-seed / seed / Series A)-Strong understanding of:Indian VC landscapeTerm sheets, cap tables, dilutionInvestor expectations and metricsExcellent written and verbal communicationHighly organised; comfortable managing multiple investor conversationsBuilder mindset — practical, scrappy, execution-orientedNice to HaveExisting relationships with Indian angels or VC fundsExperience working with first-time foundersPrior role as Chief of Staff, Strategy Lead, or VC Associate
