The role includes MDM administration (such as Microsoft Intune), DLP enforcement, system hardening using tools like CrowdStrike or Intune security baselines, and close coordination with graphics/editing teams to protect and manage their data.Strong hands-on infrastructure skills plus specific security and MDM capabilities.Core technical skills 1)LAN/WiFi networking: TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, WiFi configuration, basic routing and switching; experience with small/medium office networks and access points. 2)Windows and macOS administration: User/profile management, Group Policy or equivalent, OS hardening, patching, and troubleshooting. 3)Storage and backup: Managing internal and external hard drives, RAID concepts, permissions/NTFS, backup and restore tools, imaging/cloning software. 4)MDM/endpoint management: Practical experience with Microsoft Intune (or Microsoft Endpoint Manager) for device enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, and app deployment. 5)DLP and access control: Implementing and managing policies to block or control uploads to Google Drive and other cloud/storage channels, USB/device control, and file sharing restrictions. 6)Endpoint security and hardening: Working knowledge of EDR solutions like CrowdStrike (policies, detections, response actions) and using Intune security baselines to harden endpoints. 7)Monitoring and logging: Familiarity with system and security logs, centralized log collection/SIEM basics, and producing monthly audit and compliance reports. 8)Tools for creative workloads: Understanding of storage and performance needs for graphic/video editors (large files, fast disks, shared storage, versioning).Focus on video data management for editors: 1)Own end-to-end data management for all video content created by the editors, including structured storage of raw footage, project files, exports, and archives on designated drives or servers. 2)Perform systematic data sorting and folder structuring for video projects using consistent naming conventions, project hierarchies, and version control so editors can quickly locate required assets. 3)Tag and categorize all video content with relevant metadata (project name, date, client, version, status, editor, and key keywords) to make searches, retrieval, and audits efficient. 4)Coordinate with editors to regularly clean up, archive, and back up completed video projects, ensuring fast access to active work and secure long-term storage for past content.Preferred certificationsNetworking: CompTIA Network+ or equivalent entry-level networking certification.
