(Bavishi Fertility Institute)At our Vadodara centre, we aim to deliver excellence in embryology and reproductive science through a patient-centric and outcome-driven approach.Role Summary:We are looking for a Junior Embryologist to support embryology laboratory operations and assist in maintaining high standards of fertilisation, embryo culture, micromanipulation and cryopreservation under the guidance of senior embryologists. The candidate should have foundational hands-on experience in IVF laboratory procedures, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and be committed to learning and professional growth while ensuring compliance with quality and safety protocols.Key Responsibilities:- Assist in day-to-day embryology lab operations including oocyte handling, sperm preparation, fertilisation procedures, embryo culture, blastocyst development, embryo transfer assistance and cryopreservation. - Perform routine IVF laboratory procedures as per training and competency level, including oocyte hunting, sperm preperation, denuding, vitrification and embryo transfer. - Support preparation, handling and maintenance of lab equipment, culture media, consumables and documentation as per quality standards. - Maintain accurate records, traceability and documentation in compliance with ethical, regulatory and safety guidelines. - Work closely with senior embryologists, clinicians and nursing teams to support planned IVF cycles and patient care. - Monitor and record laboratory parameters and outcome data (fertilisation rates, cleavage rates, blastocyst formation, thaw survival etc.) and report deviations promptly. - Participate in internal training programs, competency assessments and continuous learning initiatives. - Maintain strict adherence to ethical, regulatory and safety guidelines, including traceability, contamination control and patient confidentiality. - Stay updated with new advancements in embryology and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the unit. - Commitment to work on other centers of BFI as and when required on batch basis.Qualifications & Experience:- Master’s degree in Clinical Embryology, or qualifications sufficient to qualify as per ART Act. - 1–4 years of experience in an IVF/embryology laboratory (freshers with strong internship or hands-on training may be considered). - Hands-on exposure to IVF lab techniques including sperm preparation, embryo culture and cryopreservation; exposure to ICSI is desirable. - Good observational skills, willingness to learn, ability to work under pressure and follow protocols meticulously.What we offer:- Opportunity to work in one of India’s high-end fertility clinics with advanced infrastructure and high success-rate teams. - Leadership role with scope to influence lab protocols, mentor staff and contribute to the growth of the centre. - A collaborative, patient-centric environment where innovation and continuous learning are encouraged. - Competitive remuneration and benefits aligned with experience and performance.
