About the RoleThe Executive Assistant to the CEO will provide high-level administrative, operational, and strategic support to the CEO of Home Centre Retail, ensuring effective coordination, communication, and follow-through on key priorities. The role is based at the Bangalore head office and requires strong organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.Responsibilities- Manage the CEO’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate internal and external appointments, ensuring optimal time management and prioritization. - Coordinate and organize leadership meetings, business reviews, and other key forums, including agenda setting, pre-read collation, minutes, and action tracking. - Prepare, review, and refine presentations, reports, and communication material for internal stakeholders and external partners. - Act as a key point of contact between the CEO’s office and functional/regional heads, ensuring timely flow of information and follow-up on critical deliverables. - Support strategic projects and initiatives by tracking milestones, consolidating updates, and preparing dashboards and summaries for the CEO. - Plan and coordinate domestic and international travel, including itineraries, visas, accommodation, and expense claims for the CEO. - Handle confidential information with the highest level of integrity and maintain professional documentation and records related to the CEO’s office. - Liaise with external stakeholders, partners, and vendors as required on behalf of the CEO in a professional and timely manner. - Provide general administrative support to the CEO’s office, including correspondence management, approvals routing, and document handling. - Skills and competencies - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft professional emails, notes, and presentations. - Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. - High degree of professionalism, discretion, and integrity in handling sensitive and confidential matters. - Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); familiarity with collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.). - Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively with senior leaders. - Problem-solving mindset, proactive approach, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Qualifications and experience - Graduate in any discipline; a postgraduate degree or diploma in Business Administration or related field will be an advantage. - 5–8 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or in a similar coordination role, preferably supporting CXO-level leaders.
