As we expand rapidly, we are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented interns to support our design and supply teams.Purpose of the RoleThe CAD Designer Intern will assist in creating accurate 3D CAD models for various jewellery categories such as rings, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. This role offers hands-on exposure to jewellery design, prototyping, and manufacturing processes.Key Responsibilities- Assist in creating 3D CAD models for different jewellery designs as per briefs. - Support in preparing technical CAD files suitable for 3D printing and CAM processes. - Ensure basic production feasibility including tolerances, stone settings, and finishes under guidance. - Coordinate with prototyping and sampling teams to make required corrections during development. - Revise CAD files based on feedback from senior designers and production teams. - Maintain organized documentation and version control of CAD files. - Learn and adhere to Palmonas’ design and quality standards.Skills & Qualifications- Educational background in Jewellery Design, CAD Design, or a related field. - Basic knowledge of jewellery CAD software such as Rhino, Matrix, ZBrush, or similar tools. - Understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes is a plus. - Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
