Pre-Sales Specialist / Pre-Sales Consultant – Digital Banking SolutionsLocation: ChennaiEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant with strong Digital Banking Domain & Solution Consulting expertise. This role demands hands-on experience with digital banking platforms, customer journeys, and modern banking architectures, not just generic presales exposure.The ideal candidate will deeply understand digital banking operations and transformation initiatives, translate them into platform-led solutions, and articulate measurable business value to stakeholders across US and European markets.Key ResponsibilitiesDigital Banking Domain Solution Consulting- Engage with banks and financial institutions to understand digital banking strategies, customer journeys, regulatory needs, and operational challenges. - Map digital banking workflows (Retail Digital Banking, Corporate Digital Banking, Digital Lending, Payments, Onboarding, Servicing, Compliance, Risk, etc.) to platform capabilities. - Provide domain-led digital solutioning and advisory, aligned with industry standards, regulatory frameworks, and best practices. - Conduct digital banking discovery and solution workshops to assess current-state vs. future-state platform fitment.Pre-Sales & Solution Fitment- Convert customer requirements into digital banking solution proposals, architectures, and demos. - Deliver compelling presentations highlighting digital transformation value, customer experience improvements, operational efficiency, and ROI. - Lead functional and solution discussions covering digital channels, APIs, integrations, data flows, security, and compliance.RFP / RFI & Due Diligence Ownership- Analyze and respond to digital banking RFPs/RFIs from banks and financial institutions. - Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Domain SMEs to deliver accurate, differentiated responses. - Own functional, domain, and solution architecture write-ups for digital banking deals.Product Demonstrations- Design and build digital-banking-focused demo scenarios, scripts, and customer-specific journeys. - Demonstrate end-to-end digital banking lifecycles, including: - Digital onboarding & KYC - Omni-channel servicing (web, mobile, assisted channels) - Digital lending & credit decisioning - Payments & transaction journeys - Risk, compliance, and monitoring flowsSolution Collateral Development- Create digital banking domain collateral: solution decks, POVs, whitepapers, journey maps, and use-case documents. - Support sales teams with business case creation, value articulation, and deal-specific solution strategies.Cross-Functional Collaboration- Work closely with Product Management to share digital banking feature gaps, market needs, and roadmap inputs. - Partner with Engineering on integrations, cloud deployment models, security, regulatory clarifications, and feasibility. - Support Sales teams with persona-based solution positioning for CIOs, COOs, Heads of Digital Banking, CX, Risk, and Operations.Market & Competitive Intelligence- Stay current with digital banking trends, platform modernization initiatives, open banking, API ecosystems, cloud adoption, and regulatory updates. - Track digital banking competitors and fintech platforms to strengthen product positioning and differentiation. - Provide actionable domain insights to influence go-to-market strategy and product roadmap alignment.Required Skills & ExperienceMust-Have- 8–16 years of experience in Digital Banking Domain Solution Consulting and Pre-Sales. - Strong understanding of digital banking platforms and processes: - Retail & Corporate Digital Banking - Digital Lending - Onboarding & KYC/AML - Payments & Transaction Banking - Risk, Compliance, and Regulatory workflows - Proven ability to translate digital banking journeys and workflows into platform-driven solutions and business value. - Hands-on experience conducting digital banking demos, discovery workshops, and solution design sessions. - Strong experience responding to digital banking RFPs/RFIs. - Excellent communication, storytelling, and value-selling skills.Good-to-Have- Experience with SaaS, Cloud-native Digital Banking Platforms, FinTech solutions, or Core Banking modernization. - Knowledge of integrations with CRM, LOS, LMS, KYC/AML, Risk Engines, Payments, Open Banking APIs, and third-party fintech systems. - Exposure to US and European digital banking markets. - Ability to collaborate with global, cross-functional teams across time zones.
