This role is ideal for a designer with 2–3 years of experience who is eager to learn, takes initiative, and can efficiently execute designs that align with our brand identity and educational mission.What You'll Do- Design and produce a wide range of graphic assets, including social media posts, thumbnails, website banners, presentation decks, infographics, newsletters and email marketing visuals. - Assist in the creation of fundamental brand elements, such as color palettes, type standards, and foundational design templates for the broader content team. - Ensure all design output is consistent with brand guidelines, maintaining high quality, accuracy, and aesthetic appeal. - Prepare and organize design files, assets, and libraries for efficient use by the content and marketing teams. - Collaborate closely with marketers and content creators to understand project requirements and translate text-based ideas into clear, engaging visuals. - Support the Senior Video Editor/Motion Designer by creating static elements and simple motion assets (GIFs, short loops) as needed. - Manage multiple, smaller projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and responsiveness to feedback.What You've Done- 2–3 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably within a digital media or creative agency setting. - Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator. Basic experience with animation tools (e.g., After Effects) is a plus. - A portfolio showcasing strong design fundamentals, typography skills, and visual hierarchy across digital platforms. - Demonstrated ability to work within established brand guidelines and efficiently manage design feedback and revisions. - Experience designing for different social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn). - You Are - A proactive executor who is eager to take direction and learn quickly from senior team members. - Detail-oriented and highly organized in managing design files and project assets. - Creative, with a keen eye for visual trends and aesthetics, especially within the youth and tech space. - An effective communicator and team player, capable of handling constructive criticism. - Driven by creating designs that are not just beautiful, but also functional and effective.What Success Looks Like- Success in this role is defined by efficient output, strict adherence to brand standards, and rapid development of design skills. - Design Output & Speed: Consistently deliver 15-20 high-quality assets per week (e.g., social media visuals, thumbnails, banners) with an average of less than 1 major revision required per asset. - Brand Consistency: Maintain a 99% compliance rate with established brand guidelines across all assigned design tasks. - Asset Management: Successfully organize and maintain a shared library of all new design assets, making them easily searchable and accessible to the broader team. - Skill Growth: Successfully execute at least 5 simple motion graphics projects (e.g., animated lower thirds, simple GIFs) within the first six months, demonstrating a proactive effort to expand skills beyond static design.Why Join Us- Join a dynamic team where your design work directly impacts how people learn.
