Associate Director / Director – Finance (Financial Controller)Location: BangaloreIndustry: Manufacturing & InfrastructureFunction: FinanceCTC: No bar for the right candidateRole OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned Associate Director / Director – Finance (Financial Controller) to lead group-level financial operations for a growing Manufacturing & Infrastructure organization. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for ensuring financial integrity, statutory compliance, robust controls, and partnering with senior leadership to drive sustainable business performance.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy & Planning- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational goals and long-term business plans. - Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, capital planning, and growth decisions.-Financial Reporting & Compliance- Oversee accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with Ind AS, GAAP, and statutory requirements. - Present financial performance, insights, and variance analysis to the Board and senior management. - Ensure strong internal controls and audit readiness across group entities.Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Management- Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes in coordination with cross-functional teams. - Track performance against budgets and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.Cost Management & Profitability Analysis- Drive cost control initiatives and detailed analysis of manufacturing and project costs to improve margins. - Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate financial and operational efficiency.Cash Flow & Working Capital Management- Ensure effective cash flow planning to maintain liquidity and support operational needs. - Optimize working capital through close monitoring of receivables, payables, and inventory.Risk Management & Governance- Identify financial, operational, and compliance risks and implement mitigation controls. - Ensure adherence to tax laws, regulatory frameworks, and internal policies.ERP & Financial Systems- Oversee implementation, optimization, and governance of ERP and financial systems. - Drive process automation, reporting efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.Stakeholder & Audit Management- Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, bankers, and regulatory authorities. - Act as a trusted finance partner to internal stakeholders across functions.Team Leadership & Development- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance controlling team. - Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous learning.What We're Looking For:- Qualified CA or MBA Finance with 12+ years of experience in financial controlling and management, - Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) & GAAP, audit, tax regulations, and financial reporting. - Demonstrated experience in leading finance teams and proven ability to manage complex programs, stakeholders, and vendors effectively. - Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills along with proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. - Excellent communication, high integrity, ethical standards and problem-solving abilities. - Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a focus on delivering high-quality results.Why Join Us?- Strategic leadership role with direct impact on business performance. - Opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and the Board. - Open compensation structure for a high-caliber candidate. - Growth-oriented organization with long-term infrastructure and manufacturing projects.Interested candidates may apply directly on LinkedIn or share their profile at: recruiter4.spbcgroup@
