Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal - an Institution of EminenceDeemed to be University - invites applications from eligible candidates for the position ofNetwork Administrator to be based at its associate hospitals in the Manipal Campus.Qualifications & Experience:- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field. - Hands-on experience with Cisco, Mellanox and Brocade switches. - Minimum 5 years of experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.Key Roles & Responsibilities:- Design, implement and manage network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN and wireless networks. - Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. - Configure and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches and access points. - Perform regular network maintenance, updates and backups. - Collaborate with the IT team to plan and execute network upgrades and expansion. - Maintain complete network documentation including diagrams, configurations and procedures. - Manage, monitor and troubleshoot switch-port issues (physical and remote). - Troubleshoot switch-related issues including connectivity problems, packet loss and performance degradation. - Conduct capacity planning and upgrade switching capacity to meet growing demands. - Perform firmware upgrades and overall switch firmware management. - Conduct regular failover testing to ensure redundancy and resilience. - Coordinate with vendors for support, escalation and contract renewals.Potential candidates may send their detailed CV along with copies of certificates supporting their qualifications and experience on or before December 17, 2025 to
