Job Title: Technical SalesLocation: Bangalore/ Hyderabad/ Pune/ AhmedabadExperience: 7~ 15 YearsJob SummaryWe are looking for a Test Equipment Sales Engineer to drive sales, business development, and customer engagement for electronic and electrical test & measurement solutions. The role involves technical selling, solution positioning, customer demonstrations, and coordination with OEM principals and internal teams to meet revenue and growth targets.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development- Promote and sell test & measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power analyzers, signal generators, DAQ systems, and automated test solutions, EMI/ EMC, power supply, electronics load, battery simulator, EV Test Equipment, BMS Test Solution, Hipot Tester, LCR etc. - Identify and develop new business opportunities across R&D, manufacturing, QA, and service organizations. - Manage complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure. - Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and growth objectives.Customer Engagement & Technical Support- Understand customer application requirements and propose technically suitable solutions. - Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept (POC) sessions. - Act as the technical interface between customers, OEM principals, and internal teams. - Support customers with pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance.Account Management- Develop and manage key accounts including OEMs, EMS, R&D labs, educational institutes, and government organizations. - Build long-term relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and end users. - Maintain accurate customer data, forecasts, and pipeline in CRM tools. - Work closely with OEM partners - Participate in joint customer visits, seminars, and technical workshops. - Coordinate with service, logistics, and finance teams for smooth order execution.Sales & Commercial Skills- Experience in B2B technical sales - Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills - Ability to translate technical features into customer value - Comfortable with target-driven environmentsMarketing & Promotions- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies. - Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and technical events. - Support marketing activities including email campaigns, webinars, and product launches.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)- Monthly / quarterly sales targets - Order booking & revenue growth - Customer acquisition & retention - Pipeline accuracy & forecast reliability - Customer satisfactionCompensation & Benefits- Competitive fixed salary + performance-based incentives - Travel allowance & reimbursement - Career growth in technical sales leadership
