This role requires deep hands-on expertise in Tricentis TOSCA and the ability to design scalable, maintainable automation frameworks that support enterprise applications.As an Automation Lead, you will drive automation strategy, enable continuous testing, mentor QA teams, and collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality, reliable software delivery across web, desktop, API, and SAP-based systems.Key ResponsibilitiesAutomation Strategy & Framework Development- Architect, design, and implement scalable and reusable test automation frameworks using Tricentis TOSCA. - Define automation standards, best practices, and governance models for enterprise-wide adoption. - Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, execution speed, and test reliability through automation.Test Automation Implementation- Lead the development and maintenance of automated test suites for: - Functional testing - Regression testing - Integration testing - Automate testing across Web, Desktop, API, and SAP applications using TOSCA modules and components. - Implement data-driven, model-based automation approaches to reduce script maintenance.CI/CD & Continuous Testing- Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms. - Enable continuous testing as part of Agile and DevOps delivery models. - Monitor pipeline execution results and optimize automation feedback cycles.Leadership & Mentorship- Provide technical leadership and hands-on guidance to QA and automation engineers. - Conduct training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives on TOSCA best practices. - Review automation designs, scripts, and execution reports to ensure quality and consistency.Defect Analysis & Stability- Perform root cause analysis for automation failures and flaky tests. - Continuously improve stability, reliability, and maintainability of automated test suites. - Collaborate with development teams to resolve test environment, data, and application issues.Collaboration & Shift-Left Quality- Work closely with development, product, and architecture teams to ensure testability of applications. - Promote a shift-left testing approach by introducing automation early in the SDLC. - Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release readiness discussions.Essential QualificationsEducation- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.Experience & Technical Skills- 10+ years of overall experience in test automation and quality engineering. - Deep, hands-on expertise in Tricentis TOSCA, including: - TestCase design - Modules and Reusable Libraries - Test Data Management - Execution Lists and Reporting - TOSCA Certifications such as AS1, AS2, AE1, TDS are highly preferred. - Strong experience with multiple automation types: - UI Automation - API Testing - Database Testing - Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket). - Experience working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills- Experience testing SAP applications using TOSCA. - Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or SAFe delivery models. - Knowledge of test management tools and defect tracking systems (JIRA, ALM, etc.). - Experience working in large-scale enterprise or regulated environments.Soft Skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Proven leadership and mentoring skills. - Passion for quality engineering and continuous improvement.
