With our expertise, we achieve energy savings and perform power quality audits and improvements.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accounts Manager – US Accounting with strong expertise in SAP to lead and manage end-to-end US accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in US GAAP, financial reporting, compliance, and team leadership, along with the ability to partner with stakeholders across geographies and ensure accurate and timely financial close.Key ResponsibilitiesUS Accounting & Reporting- Lead end-to-end accounting operations in line with US GAAP, including GL, AP, AR, revenue recognition, accruals, and fixed assets. - Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close. - Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and management reports. - Handle intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and eliminations. - Support external audits and ensure timely audit closures. - Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements (if applicable).SAP Responsibilities- Own and manage finance processes on SAP (SAP FICO mandatory). - Ensure accurate configuration, postings, and reconciliations in SAP. - Drive SAP-based reporting, controls, and process enhancements. - Act as the primary finance SPOC for SAP-related issues and improvements.Team Leadership & Management- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accounting professionals handling US accounting. - Allocate work, set priorities, and ensure adherence to timelines. - Review team output to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP. - Conduct performance reviews and support team development.Stakeholder & Business Partnering- Partner with US-based stakeholders, finance leaders, and cross-functional teams. - Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks. - Provide financial insights, variance analysis, and MIS reports to senior management.Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. - 5-7 years of relevant experience in US accounting. - Strong hands-on experience with SAP (SAP FICO). - In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, financial close, and reporting. - Proven experience in managing and leading accounting teams. - Strong communication skills for working with US stakeholders. - Ability to work in overlapping US time zones as required.
