We work across diverse industries and sectors like Technology, Industrials, Energy, Chemicals, Life Sciences and Logistics, including market research, strategy, sales and marketing, R&D, and more.Key Responsibilities:- Work as part of Evalueserve’s on-site team supporting the Strategy and Business Development function for an Aluminium SBU in the Middle East. - Focus on topics such as supply demand outlook, asset and project economics, customer and segment evaluation, and growth opportunities across the aluminium value chain (bauxite, alumina, smelting, and downstream). - Combine market analysis, financial modelling, and regular interaction with client stakeholders to support decision making. - Lead workstreams for strategy and business development topics under guidance from the client Strategy leadership and the Evalueserve Director. - Build and review financial models for key aluminium assets (mines, refineries, smelters, and downstream plants), including scenarios on prices, volumes, costs, and returns. - Analyse global and regional supply demand trends for aluminium and key raw materials and translate findings into clear implications for the client’s portfolio and project pipeline. - Assess growth opportunities such as new projects, expansions, debottlenecking, new markets, and new customers, and help build business cases and recommendations. - Support business development work with a clear customer lens, including: - evaluation of priority customer segments and applications, - support for customer qualification and trials where relevant, - review of customer feedback and customer satisfaction survey findings together with the client. - Prepare clear, executive level documents and presentations for internal reviews and for senior external stakeholders. - Act as day-to-day contact for the client’s Strategy and Business Development team on assigned topics and guide Consultants on research and modelling tasks.Qualifications and Skills:• Relevant experience in strategy, business development, or consulting, in metals, mining, and especially aluminium value chain. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.• Strong understanding of basic economics and financial concepts (cash flows, IRR, NPV, sensitivities), and comfort with Excel-based models.• Demonstrated experience in market and competitive analysis, preferably for commodities or industrial products.• Experience working with or supporting customer facing or business development teams (for example, key accounts, product development with customers, or structured customer research) is a strong plus.• Very good command of spoken and written English.• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, and ability to create clear and precise client ready outputs.• Willingness to be based on-site in the Middle East and work closely with client teams.Interested candidates can share their profiles at amit.rana2@
