Location: PuneExperience: 5.5 – 7 YearsEmployment Type: Full-timeRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java (above 1.8), Microservices Architecture, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Multithreading, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust enterprise-grade solutions.Key Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java (1.8 and above). - Build and maintain Microservices-based architectures using Spring Boot. - Develop and integrate Kafka-based event-driven and messaging solutions. - Implement multithreading and concurrency for high-performance systems. - Design RESTful APIs and ensure secure, efficient communication between services. - Collaborate with product owners, architects, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. - Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. - Participate in code reviews, debugging, and production support activities. - Ensure adherence to SDLC, Agile/Scrum processes, and coding standards.Required Skills & Qualifications- 5.5 to 7 years of experience in Java backend development. - Strong hands-on experience with Java 1.8+ (Streams, Lambda expressions, Collections). - Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture. - Extensive experience with Spring Boot (Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Data). - Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, partitions). - Strong knowledge of Multithreading, Concurrency, and JVM internals. - Experience building REST APIs and working with JSON/XML. - Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and build tools (Maven/Gradle). - Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.Nice to Have- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). - Knowledge of design patterns and system design. - Experience in high-volume, low-latency systems.
