Position: Head TeacherLocation: Pune, Maharashtra - KOREGAON PARKType: Full-time, On-siteKey Responsibilities1. Curriculum Implementation & Classroom Leadershipa. Design and deliver engaging, brain-responsive, and developmentally alignedlesson plans, tailored to individual child needs and interests.b. Create a classroom culture that reflects joyful learning, purposefulexploration, and values-centred teaching.c. Embed inquiry-based learning, storytelling, and multisensory strategies intodaily routines.d. Integrate opportunities for creative expression, movement, language,numeracy, and socio-emotional growth.2. Team Mentorship & Collaborationa. Lead and guide assistant teachers and caregivers through regular planning,modeling, and feedback.b. Foster a culture of reflection, open communication, and shared ownershipwithin the classroom team.3. Observation, Assessment & Documentationa. Conduct ongoing observations, formative assessments, and learningdocumentation.b. Maintain child portfolios that highlight progress across developmentaldomains.c. Prepare progress reports and lead goal-setting conversations with families.4. Family Engagement & Partnershipa. Build strong, trusting relationships with parents through regularcommunication, PTMs, and learning showcases.b. Collaborate with families to co-create strategies that support holistic childdevelopment at home and school.5. Environment & Safety Stewardshipa. Ensure the classroom is an aesthetically pleasing, safe, and inclusive spacethat aligns with ethoes.b. Uphold all health, hygiene, and safeguarding protocols with consistency andcare.6. Professional Learning & Advocacya. Actively participate in training sessions, curriculum reviews, and learningcommunities. Represent us in school tours, open houses, and public forumswith professionalism and warmth.Required Qualifications & Educational Background1. Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Early Childhood Education, Child Development,Education, or a related field.2. Diploma/Postgraduate Certificate in Montessori, NTT, ECCE, or Waldorf/Regioninspired methodologies is preferred.3. 3–5 years of lead teaching experience in a high-quality preschool or early yearsenvironment.4. Proven experience in curriculum execution, classroom leadership, and familyengagement.Desired Skills & Professional Proficiencies1. Strong grounding in neuroscience-backed, inquiry-led pedagogies.2. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.3. Ability to coach and mentor peers while upholding high professional standards.4.
