About the Role Join Synergy Marine Group as an Electrical Superintendent and play a crucial role in optimizing the electrical, automation, navigation, and communication systems across our tanker fleet. You will provide high-quality shore-based support, ensuring efficient operations within budget and timelines. Responsibilities include maintenance strategy development, technology evaluation for carbon footprint reduction, lifecycle management, budget planning, vendor management, and procurement liaison.Responsibilities:Develop maintenance strategies for electrical, automation, navigation, and communication equipment Identify and propose cost-effective technologies to reduce carbon footprint Maintain a database of equipment lifecycle, failures, and root cause analysis for data-driven decisions Prepare yearly budgets and stay updated on relevant rules and regulations Manage vendors and provide feedback to the category management team Liaise with the procurement team for timely and cost-optimized spare parts Ensure timely approval of requisitions and invoice payments Conduct business/economic evaluations for cost-effective operationsQualifications & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Marine Electrical and Automation focus preferred) Minimum 5 years of sailing experience as a Marine Electrical Engineer on tanker Vessel ETO COC Holder Desirable: 1-2 years of shore-based experience as an Electrical Superintendent
