Position Title: Solutions Architect – Google Cloud CortexLocation: India (Remote/Hybrid)Experience: 8–10 yearsWork Timings: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM ISTEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Google Cloud Cortex Framework to lead end-to-end cloud architecture, data modernization, and enterprise analytics initiatives. This role requires strong architectural thinking, hands-on technical execution, and the ability to collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and insight-driven cloud solutions.Key Responsibilities1. End-to-End Cloud Architecture & Delivery• Define end-to-end cloud strategy, architecture, and execution covering migration, modernization, andoptimization of enterprise workloads.• Design robust architectures leveraging Google Cloud Cortex Framework, BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataform,Looker/LookML, Vertex AI, and related GCP services.• Translate functional and analytical requirements into scalable, secure, cost-optimized technical solutions.• Architect and implement ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformations, semantic layers, and analytical datamodels.• Ensure alignment with GCP best practices, enterprise security standards, and data governanceframeworks.2. Data Engineering & KPI Harmonization• Resolve data inconsistencies and ensure harmonized KPIs across multiple data sources.• Design and build data ingestion frameworks including SAP source system extraction (added advantage).• Prepare, cleanse, and transform datasets for analytical and visualization use cases.• Establish architectural patterns for data quality, metadata management, lineage tracking, andperformance optimization.3. Client & Stakeholder Collaboration• Partner with business teams, product owners, and global stakeholders to understand analytical andreporting needs.• Communicate architectural decisions, trade-offs, and recommendations clearly and effectively.• Facilitate technical workshops and guide teams through best practice adoption.4. Technical Leadership• Provide thought leadership on Cortex-based architectures and reusable design accelerators.• Mentor engineering teams on development, deployment, and operational excellence.• Conduct architecture reviews, performance assessments, and troubleshoot complex issues.5. Project Execution & Documentation• Own solution design artifacts—HLD, LLD, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications.• Oversee delivery quality, ensuring milestones are met on time and with the expected rigor.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth end-to-end project implementation.Technical Skills & ExperienceMandatory• 8–10 years in cloud, data engineering, analytics, or solution architecture roles.• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Cortex Framework (required).• Strong expertise across Google Cloud Platform (GCP):o BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Subo Cloud Composer, Looker/LookMLo Vertex AI (preferred)• Demonstrated experience in:o Cloud migration & modernization strategieso ETL/ELT design and implementationo Data modeling (dimensional, semantic, enterprise models)o Designing scalable data pipelines and analytics architectures• Strong foundation in data preparation, transformation, optimization, logging, monitoring, andperformance tuning.Preferred• Experience extracting data from SAP systems (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, BW).• Exposure to Data Mesh, Data Governance, or MDM frameworks.• Experience working with US-based cross-functional engineering teams.• Familiarity with Contact Center AI (optional).
