As aSenior Accounting & Finance Operations Manager , your goal is toprotect cash, ensure accurate financials, and build strong discipline around AP, AR and job profitability . You will be the person who connects the dots between operations, sales and finance – turning Cargowise data into real P&L, controlling payments, and driving collections. On a normal day you might be reviewing job profitability in Cargowise, negotiating a payment plan with a carrier, closing the month with our external CPA, or advising the CEO on which invoices to pay and which customers to block. If you enjoy having ownership, visibility, and direct impact on business decisions, this role is for you.You WillOwn Accounting & Reporting Own theend-to-end accounting for Beeontrade’s local entity(GL, AP, AR, bank, fixed assets, accruals). Preparemonthly P&L, balance sheet and cash flowand reconcile to Cargowise. Coordinate with external accountants forpayroll, tax and statutory filings . Ensure all Cargowise jobs are properly costed and invoiced; no missing revenue, no “forgotten” costs. Build simple, clear reporting packs for the CEO and global finance (profit by office, product, customer).Lead AP / Cash Management Ownsupplier APfor carriers, truckers, customs brokers, warehouses, landlords, and service providers. Design and run aweekly payment calendarbased on cash availability and priorities. Decide and recommend which invoices to pay now, which to split, and which to delay – always protecting working capital. Ensurecritical payments(duties, freight, rent, payroll, taxes) are never missed. Maintain strict approval workflows andsegregation between this entity and other Beeontrade entities .Lead AR / Credit & Collections Own thefull AR processfrom invoicing to cash collection. MonitorAR aging, DSO, and past-due balances ; prepare weekly collection plans. Call and email customers, agree payment plans, and escalate problem accounts early. Work closely with Sales and Operations to align credit terms, stop-ship decisions, and margin protection. Set up clear procedures aroundcredit limits, pre-payment rules, and release of shipments .Be the Cargowise Finance Owner Act as theCargowise finance “super user” : job costing, invoicing, revenue recognition, and margin checks. Train operations and sales teams on how to use Cargowise correctly so that finance data is clean. Work with our global finance and systems teams to improve templates, reports and workflows in Cargowise.Build Processes, Controls & Team Implement and maintaininternal controlsover payments, approvals, documentation and access to bank accounts. Document finance SOPs: AP, AR, cash application, month-end close, job profitability checks, etc. Supervise and develop junior AP/AR staff; review their work and coach them to higher standards. Partner with the CEO and Head of Finance (global) on budgeting, forecasting and vendor negotiations.You Should Have7+ yearsof experience inAccounting / Finance , includingat least 3+ yearsin a senior role such asAccounting Manager, Finance Manager or Controller . Strong knowledge oflocal statutory requirements(payroll, tax, social security, statutory reporting). Proven track record managingAP, AR, cash flow and monthly financial closing . Hands-on experience withfreight forwarding or logisticsis a strong plus. Proficiency withCargowise (or similar TMS/ERP)andadvanced Microsoft Excelskills. Ability to read and interpretfinancial statementsand explain them clearly to non-finance stakeholders. High level ofintegrity, ownership, and discipline ; respects approval workflows and entity separation. Comfortable challenging vendors, customers and internal stakeholders using facts and numbers.
