Location: Chennai (Remote)Experience: 0–2 YearsDepartment: Marketing & CreativeEmployment Type: Full-TimeWe are expanding our creative team and looking for a highly motivated Entry-Level Video Editor who loves short-form content, transitions, and motion-driven editing styles.Role OverviewYou will be responsible for creating scroll-stopping Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style videos with strong storytelling, modern motion graphics, and trend-based transitions.This is a great opportunity for freshers who are passionate about viral content and want to grow in a fast-paced creative environment.Key Responsibilities1. Short-Form Video Editing Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok-style videos dailyCreate fast-paced, high-retention edits with a clear hook in the first 3 secondsAdd trending effects, cuts, overlays, and creative transitions2. Motion Graphics & Animation Add text animations, kinetic typography, stickers, and motion elementsApply zoom effects, whip transitions, warp distortions, match cuts, speed ramps, etc.3. Trend Research & Creative Input Identify viral formats, hooks, audio trends, and editing stylesTransform raw shoots, podcast clips, talking-head videos, and screen recordings into highly engaging content4. Basic Color & Audio Cleanup Perform color correction, exposure balancing, and LUT applicationSync music, voiceover cleanup, background noise reduction5. Content Repurposing Convert long format videos (webinars, interviews, podcasts) into multiple short, engaging clipsAdd captions, emojis, and relevant on-screen graphics to maintain retention6. Collaboration Work closely with the Marketing Lead, Creative Director, Scriptwriters & Social Media teamUnderstand creative briefs and deliver edits with fast turnaroundHandle feedback loops positively and refine edits as neededRequired Skills Basic proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut Desktop, or DaVinci ResolveStrong sense of pace, rhythm, transitions & storytellingUnderstanding of Instagram trends, reel formats, and audience behaviourAbility to add basic motion graphics (After Effects knowledge is a bonus)Attention to detail, creativity, willingness to learn fastAbility to work under deadlines and deliver 3–7 edits per week depending on complexity
