We are committed to fostering an inclusive culture where every employee can thrive and contribute their best.McDonald’s is seeking a Coordinator, Accounting Operations based in India to support lease expense activities across various regions. This entry-level role is part of the Market Finance team and focuses on maintaining accurate lease expense records and assisting with financial reporting tasks, reporting to Specialist, Accounting Operations. The Coordinator will work closely with internal systems and teams to ensure data integrity and timely processing of lease expense-related transactions.The candidate is expected to reside in Hyderabad, India.Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of lease expense dashboards and reports to support financial transparency and decision-making. - Maintain accurate lease expense data in TRIRIGA, ensuring timely updates and alignment with financial systems. - Support the setup and validation of GL accounts related to lease payables, ensuring proper classification and compliance with accounting standards. - Perform routine reconciliations of lease expense accounts and assist with monthly close activities. - Process and track lease expense payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contractual obligations. - Collaborate with Market Finance teams to support lease expense forecasting and variance analysis.Knowledge and Skill Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. - Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting is sufficient; certification not required (e.g., CPA not expected) - No previous experience required - English Proficiency (written and verbal IRL Level 4) - Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial systems or databases. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes. - Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset. - Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced financial environment. - Help update and maintain reports and dashboards that track lease expenses. - Keep lease expense data accurate and up to date in TRIRIGA and other systems. - Assist with setting up general ledger (GL) accounts for lease payments. - Support monthly account reconciliations and help with closing the books. - Process lease expense payments and make sure they follow contract terms. - Work with finance teams to help prepare lease expense forecasts. - Help improve tools used to track and analyze lease expenses. - Support team members and contribute to a positive and productive work environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to stakeholders. - Strong customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service and support. - Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
