Job Title: SAP ABAP Consultant (5–6 Years Experience)Location: Hyderabad, IndiaEmployment Type: Full-Time / PermanentExperience Required: 5–6 Years5 days work form office.Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in ABAP development along with a solid understanding of SAP modules and integration scenarios. This role involves working closely with functional teams, participating in requirement analysis, and delivering high-quality technical solutions.Key Responsibilities- Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF). - Work on Object-Oriented ABAP, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, Module Pool, and Data Dictionary Objects. - Develop and maintain SmartForms, SAPScripts, and Adobe Forms. - Handle IDocs, ALE, EDI, and interface development. - Perform performance tuning and debugging of ABAP programs. - Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Work on SAP Fiori/UI5 and OData services (optional but preferred). - Support SAP upgrades, data migration, and cutover activities. - Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and best practices. - Provide production support, issue diagnosis, and timely troubleshooting. - Prepare unit test cases, technical documentation, and transport management.Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 5–6 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development. - Strong knowledge of Core ABAP, OO ABAP, RICEF, IDocs, and Enhancement techniques. - Experience with SmartForms/SAPScripts/Adobe Forms. - Good understanding of cross-functional SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, PP, etc. - Experience in Debugging & Performance Tuning. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. - Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and independently when required.Good-to-Have Skills- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development. - Knowledge of Workflow and BPM. - Exposure to S/4HANA and CDS Views. - Experience with Agile / DevOps methodologies.
