Our success is built on teamwork, courage, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.WHAT'S THE MISSION FOR THIS ROLE?Holistic approach and expert level understanding of AI solutions from Google, Microsoft, OpenAl etc. Ability to define AI strategy and work with key stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical deliverables. Lead the development, deployment, and governance of AI and Machine Learning, Deep Learning solutions to drive business transformation and ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards. The AI Manager will architect and build robust, scalable AI systems, actively code and mentor the technical team, and implement best-in-class AI governance frameworks.WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO?- Leads the AI team with credibility and takes the broadest of views in relation to AI technology and how it can help an organisation across the technology landscape, data, collaboration, productivity and development. - Works closely with the Collaboration Services Team, working with the team and business to develop the strategy and roadmap for the Microsoft / OpenAl / end user tools. - Responsible for the strategy and tactics concerning the line of business (vertical) AI and the end user (horizontal) AI. - Lead AI/ML project delivery, from requirements gathering and prototyping to production deployment and maintenance. - Architect and develop advanced machine learning, deep learning, and analytics models using Python and industry-standard libraries. - Design, implement, and maintain AI governance frameworks—including model documentation, explainability, monitoring, compliance, and auditability. - Collaborate with legal, compliance, and business teams to assess and mitigate AI risk, and ensure models comply with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). - Mentor, coach, and develop data science and engineering staff through best practices in coding, testing, peer review, and ethical AI. - Oversee data management, data quality, and secure data access to enable ethical and compliant use of data in AI projects. - Monitor deployed AI models for drift, bias, performance, and regulatory alignment, drive model retraining and revalidation cycles. - Communicate technical results, risks, and governance strategies to technical and non- technical stakeholders. - Stay abreast of the latest AI, ML, and governance innovations, integrating emerging tools and techniques into the organization.WHAT DO I BRING TO THE ROLE?To stand out in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:- Expert level knowledge with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Google Gemini. - Over 8yr experience in advanced, hands-on Python development—expertise with NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and data visualization tools. - Deep knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling techniques. - Strong experience with version control (Git), CI/CD, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and ML Ops platforms (Vertex AI, MLflow, Kubeflow). - Proven experience designing and implementing AI governance processes: bias detection, model transparency/explainability (LIME, SHAP), documentation, and ethical AI practices. - Familiarity with regulatory frameworks for AI (GDPR, CCPA, emerging global standards). - Data engineering best practices—including ETL, data validation, and secure data integration from diverse sources. - Experience in cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure) for scalable AI workloads and governance integration. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; ability to simplify complex AI concepts for diverse audiences. - Leadership experience: managing, mentoring, and recruiting AI talent and fostering a culture of ethical, responsible AI innovation. - Establishment and enforcement of AI governance principles and ethical policies in a business setting. - Track record implementing bias, fairness, and explainability assessments for ML models. - Experience with model documentation, regulatory reporting, and compliance audits. - Collaboration on cross-functional teams to review, approve, and monitor AI systems for alignment with business, legal, and ethical requirements.KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES & TARGETS BUSINESS ENGAGEMENT:- Revenue growth attributed to data, insight sand analytical efforts - Customer experience and improvements - Cost Saving through use of data platforms.AI DEVELOPMENT & GOVERNANCE:- Time to market - Adoption of solution by business - Actual business outcomes compared to initial scope & targets. - Timely delivery of implemented solution with minimum defect in production.We want you to live our company principles, bringing a strong consumer focus, while always looking for ways to improve and grow in your role.
