Job Title: Legal & Compliance ManagerLocation: Bellandur, BangaloreExperience: 3–6 yearsIndustry Preference: FMCG / Organic Food / ManufacturingEmail to directly Apply: sadafnaz@We are hiring a Legal & Compliance Manager to oversee company-wide legal, statutory, and audit-related functions. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in FMCG or Manufacturing compliance, contract management, FSSAI regulations, and labour law governance.A. Agreement & Contract Management• Draft, review, and negotiate key business agreements, including vendor, supplier, distributor, marketing, and employment contracts.• Maintain centralized contract repository and ensure timely renewals.B. FMCG & Organic Food Regulatory Compliance• Ensure compliance with FSSAI and Legal Metrology requirements, including license renewals, packaging declarations, and artwork approvals.C. Shops & Establishments / Statutory Compliance• Manage Karnataka Shops & Establishment Act compliance and maintain statutory registers and returns.D. Vendor, Labour & Third-Party Compliance• Verify compliance of manpower vendors, including PF/ESI challans, wage registers, and contract labour documentation.E. HR Legal Support & POSH Governance• Support HR in disciplinary actions, terminations, legal notices, and POSH governance including IC formation and training.F. Internal & External Audits• Coordinate regulatory, statutory, and process audits, and prepare all compliance documentation for internal/external auditors.G. Legal Advisory & Risk Management• Respond to legal notices, manage risk assessments, and advise leadership on legal implications of business decisions.Required Skills & Competencies• Strong understanding of FMCG/Organic Food regulations, FSSAI, Legal Metrology, factory and labour laws, POSH, and contract compliance.• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and documentation abilities.• Ability to handle audits and regulatory interactions independently.Educational Qualification• LLB/LLM (mandatory).• Additional certifications in corporate or labour law preferred.
