L3 - Virtualization Engineer – (Veeam, VMware, Citrix, Nutanix)Skills – VMware, Citrix, or Nutanix with Veeam backup solutionsShifts – Rotational, 24/7 and 5 days weekLocation: Hyderabad - WFOJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Virtualization Engineer to join our Managed Service Provider (MSP) support team. The ideal candidate will have expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting virtualized environments using VMware, Citrix, or Nutanix with Veeam backup solutions for enterprise and mid-market clients. This role will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and high performance of client virtualization and backup infrastructures.Key Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and support virtualization solutions using VMware vSphere/ESXi, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, and Nutanix platforms. - Administer and optimize backup and recovery processes using Veeam Backup & Replication. - Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and health monitoring of virtualized environments. - Lead migrations, upgrades, and greenfield deployments of virtualization and backup solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to virtualization, storage integration, and disaster recovery. - Ensure high availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery for client environments. - Develop and maintain up-to-date documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. - Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver tailored solutions. - Monitor and report on virtualization environment health, backup status, and compliance with best practices. - Stay current with technology advancements, security threats, and industry best practices. - Participate in an on-call rotation and provide escalation support for critical incidents.Required Skills & Experience:- 5+ years of experience as a Virtualization Engineer, Systems Engineer, or similar role within an MSP or enterprise environment. - Expert-level experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi, vCenter, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop), or Nutanix HCI (Prism, AHV, Acropolis). - Proven experience configuring and managing Veeam Backup & Replication for virtualized environments. - Solid understanding of networking and storage concepts as they relate to virtualization. - Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Power CLI, etc.) is a plus. - Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and customer service skills.Preferred Qualifications:- Relevant certifications (e.g., VCP-DCV, Veeam Certified Engineer, Citrix CCA-V/CCP-V, Nutanix NCP/NCM). - Experience with additional backup or disaster recovery solutions. - ITIL Foundation certification.Key Competencies:- Analytical problem-solving - Customer focus - Attention to detail - Project management - Effective communication
