Job Title: Data Analyst (Political Intelligence)Location: Mohali, Punjab (Full-time) Reporting to: Strategy Director / Campaign LeadRole OverviewWe are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our war room. You will be responsible for processing massive amounts of voter data to identify trends, predict outcomes, and micro-target specific demographics. Your insights will directly dictate where the Campaign Manager spends time on the field and what messages the Graphic Designer creates.Key ResponsibilitiesVoter Profiling: Analyze voter rolls (Electoral Rolls) and census data to segment the electorate by age, caste, religion, and socio-economic status.Sentiment Analysis: Monitor social media trends and poll survey data to gauge public mood and identify emerging issues in specific constituencies.Booth-Level Analytics: Identify "Swing Booths" and "Stronghold Booths" by analyzing historical election data (Form 20) to optimize resource allocation.Dashboard Management: Create real-time data visualizations and dashboards for leadership to track campaign progress and field team performance.Micro-Targeting: Develop lists for targeted SMS, WhatsApp, and IVR campaigns based on data-driven triggers.Polling Support: Design survey methodologies and analyze results from field surveys to provide regular "Pulse Reports."Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Mastery: High proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, VBA) and SQL for database management.Data Visualization: Experience with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio to present complex data simply.Statistical Tools: Knowledge of Python or R for predictive modeling and sentiment analysis is a strong plus.Regional Context: A solid understanding of the political landscape of Punjab and the ability to interpret data within local cultural contexts.Education: Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.Performance Indicators (KPIs)Accuracy: Error-free processing of large-scale voter databases.Actionability: Ability to turn complex data into a "3-point summary" for non-technical team members.Timeliness: Delivering rapid-response analysis during high-pressure election weeks.
