// Urgent hiring for Senior Design Engineer //Location: Turbhe MIDC, Navi MumbaiJob Description – Senior Design Engineer- SPMExperience- 3 years (manufacturing & Engineering industries)Ctc- upto 4.2 lpa (depends on interview)Working Days- 6 days (9am-6:15 pm)Position DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Engineer – SPM to lead themechanical design and development of custom automation systems and special purpose machines.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, a deep understanding ofmanufacturing processes, and the ability to lead engineering projects from concept tocommissioning.ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed 3 D models of pharmaceuticals machine by understanding customer needs & specifications.Use Cad software such as AutoCAD , to develop parts , assemblies & complete machine systemEnsure that designs are optimised for manufacturing process like CNC machining, sheetmetal, fabrication & welding.Consider material selection , tolerance & ease of assemblyWork closely with Mechanical ,Electrical engineers & fabrication teams to integratemechanical system with automation & controlsCoordinate with quality assurance & regulatory teams to ensure GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)complianceGenerate 2D/3D fabrication drawings, BOMs (Bills of Material) & assembly instructions.Modify standard design to meet customer- specific requirements such as size, output rate, material type & apace constrainsParticipate in the prototyping phase, support the assembly team during initial bulks & suggest design improvements. Support machine trials, functional testing, and debugging.Update 3 D model & documentation as part of product lifecycle managementEnsure machine design follows GMP regulations for pharmaceuticals equipment.Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.Engage directly with clients to understand specifications and provide design solutions.Experience3 years of experience in Equipment and machinery manufacturing3 years of experience in CAD Design – 2D & 3D in Autodesk InventorCandidate with background in relevant Industrial/production/ Medical device manufacturing experience will be given preference.Skills / CompetenciesCommunication in English, Hindi (Must) and Regional/local languageDecision Making - OwnershipProblem Analysis / SolvingResults DrivenTeamwork OrientationManaging communication between teams in disparate locationsTechnical and Domain SkillsB.TECH / Engineering ( Degree or Diploma) in Mechanical EngineeringProficiency in CAD Design – 2D & 3D on Autodesk / Inventor platformsAdditional courses in CAD drafting - presentation of drawings etcUnderstand equipment manufacturing and engineering designFamiliar with bearing, gears, fasteners, fits and tolerances etcAdditional courses in product design / Design EngineeringStrong understanding of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and motion controlKey SkillSpecial Purpose Machine DesignAssembly DesignAutoCADMachine Drawing3D modelling SPM design
