Designation: Bookkeeper (Norwegian Accounting)Location: AhmedabadExperience: 2+ YearsSalary: up to 6.6 LPAShift timing: 11 AM - 08:30 PMJob Profile:We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced senior accountant to join our Norway accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Norwegian GAAP, VAT regulations, and local compliance requirements. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting processes, preparing financial statements, handling VAT filings, and supporting audits for our Norwegian clients.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting for clients based in Norway.Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsEnsure compliance with Norwegian accounting and tax regulationsPerform VAT calculations and submit VAT returnsLiaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholdersSupport month-end and year-end close processesReconcile accounts and maintain general ledger accuracyReview work of junior accountants and provide guidanceAssist in process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting workflowsRequired Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum 2 years of accounting experience (preferably with Norway or Nordic region exposure)Strong knowledge of Norwegian GAAP and VAT regulationsExperience with accounting software such as SAP, Xero, or Visma (preferred)Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to work independently and collaboratively with international teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience working with European clientsKnowledge of IFRS is a plusFamiliarity with automation tools or ERP systemsCompany Profile:The company is a fast-growing professional service group based in Ahmedabad, offering finance and accounting outsourcing to clients worldwide.
