PURPOSETo provide strategic leadership and direction to the procurement function for corporate, CAPEX, OPEX, and support project operations, ensuring the seamless and cost-effective supply of goods, services, and works that meet quality, compliance, and delivery standards. The role focuses on building a robust procurement ecosystem, driving innovation, optimizing total cost of ownership, and aligning procurement strategies with organizational growth, sustainability, and project timelines. KEY ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPSReports to: VP – Finance Reporting Roles: Deputy General Purchase, Senior Purchase Managers, Purchase Managers, Procurement Executives, Store Managers Interacts with: External - Senior vendor leadership, contractors, OEMs, consultants, regulatory authorities, strategic sourcing partners Internal - Finance, Operations, Projects, Engineering, F&B, Legal, HRKEY RESPONSIBILITIESDrive Operational Excellence • Lead end-to-end procurement strategy for CAPEX, OPEX, and support project procurement across all corporate and project locations.• Ensure procurement processes are efficient, transparent, compliant, and aligned with company policies. • Implement KPIs for performance tracking, supplier delivery adherence, cost control, and savings realization.• Oversee deployment of advanced procurement technologies, digital tools, and data analytics for improved forecasting and spend visibility. • Ensure adherence to Delegation of Authority (DOA) and organizational procurement systems for audit, compliance, and governance purposes. Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization• Drive negotiations for high-value CAPEX and OPEX contracts, ensuring optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms. • Develop and execute category strategies for capital equipment, project materials, consumables, and operational supplies. • Identify global and domestic sourcing opportunities to reduce total cost of ownership while ensuring supply chain resilience.• Champion sustainable sourcing and ESG-compliant procurement practices in all spend categories.• Incorporate industry best practices and benchmarking to enhance sourcing strategies, supplier partnerships, and process efficiency. People Management• Lead and inspire a high-performing procurement team across functions and geographies. • Mentor and coach leaders to handle strategic sourcing for both CAPEX-heavy projects and recurring OPEX needs.• Drive succession planning and ensure skill development for emerging procurement leaders. Business and Financial Acumen • Develop and manage corporate procurement budgets for CAPEX and OPEX, aligning spend with business priorities. • Oversee procurement spend analysis, savings tracking, cost-avoidance reporting, and ROI measurement. • Integrate procurement planning into business expansion, renovation, and greenfield project timelines. Leadership• Serve as the organization’s strategic procurement voice at leadership and board-level discussions. • Lead transformation initiatives to modernize procurement governance, systems, and supplier engagement models.• Build and maintain cross-functional alignment with finance, projects, operations, and sustainability teams. Compliance & Risk Management• Ensure compliance with corporate governance, legal, and statutory procurement requirements for both CAPEX and OPEX contracts.• Conduct risk assessments for strategic suppliers, critical equipment purchases, and long-term service agreements.• Uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and transparency in all procurement activities. Occupational Health & Safety Responsibilities• Ensure OH&S compliance in procurement of equipment, services, and project-related works. • Mandate contractor and supplier adherence to workplace safety and environmental regulations. • Monitor and document OH&S performance in vendor audits and performance reviews. JOB REQUIREMENTS / HIRING PROFILE QUALIFICATIONS Graduate / Postgraduate in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or Business Administration. WORK EXPERIENCE 15–20 years of progressive procurement/supply chain experience, with at least 5–7 years in a senior leadership role in hospitality or allied sectors handling large-scale procurement.
