Education : B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer ScienceExperience: Must have 8+ years relevant experience in the field of database Administration.Mandatory Skills/Knowledge Installation of SQL Server on cluster environment Complete knowledge of Backup and recovery Should have knowledge of Database Security policies Should have knowledge of high availability (Cluster, Mirroring, logshipping, always on) Performance monitoring and tuning Should have good knowledge of issues and trouble shooting. Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems. Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security. Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement. Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems. Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours. Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to organize and plan work independently Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams Basic Knowledge of Cloud Technologies like Azure,AWS & GCP Taking Backup for Databases on Azure Blob Storages from Local Servers Ability to decode Execution Plans for MSSQL Server Hands-On Knowledge on SQL 2019,2022 New Features Database Consolidation, Migrations & Licensing Knowledge for MSSQL Should have worked and experience with AzureSQL / Basic Knowledge about Migration Onpremise to Azure Preferred Skills/Knowledge SME Level knowledge of database administration and architecture. Database Design Knowledge and hands on experience.. Requirement analysis and component design including detailed design and resolving design issues. Acts as a participant to project and application management teams to promote standards and best practices, provide estimates, and plan and manage database activities on deliverables.
