Position: Mechanical Engineer Location: Remote/ Hybrid — must maintain at least 3 hours daily overlap with U.S. Eastern Time (GMT-4/-5) Employment Type: ContractAbout the CompanyBridge Business Support Services is leading the delivery of a cutting-edge, FDA-cGMP artemisinin manufacturing line -combining continuous photochemistry, crystallization, and solvent recovery at industrial scale.Responsibilities:Perform equipment sizing and specification (reactors, crystallizers, heat exchangers, filters, dryers, tanks, etc.).Prepare mechanical datasheets and review vendor drawings for compliance.Support development of equipment layout drawings, tie-in points, and utility connections.Collaborate with process and instrumentation engineers to ensure integrated design solutions.Evaluate vendor quotations and support procurement in technical bid analysis.Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and assist during installation & commissioning phases.Ensure all mechanical designs and documents are aligned with cGMP, ASME, API, and US FDA requirements.Provide inputs for maintenance, safety, and reliability considerations in equipment design.Qualifications & Skills:B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.5–7 years’ experience in pharma/chemical plant design or EPC projects.Strong knowledge of ASME codes, API standards, piping & pressure vessel design.Experience in vendor coordination, procurement support, and documentation.Familiarity with cGMP and 21 CFR Part 11/210/211 requirements for regulated markets preferred.Proficiency in AutoCAD, mechanical design tools, and MS Office.What We OfferSalary paid in USDRemote work flexibilityPerformance-based bonuses and growth opportunitiesCollaborative, startup-style work environmentAccess to learning, tools, and mentorship to boost your career
