Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Expert from the Textile Industry to work closely with MSME textile manufacturers, processors, and exporters. This freelance role is ideal for professionals with hands-on industry experience who enjoy solving real-world business problems. Key Responsibilities Design go-to-market and market access strategies (domestic & export) Drive product positioning and portfolio strategy across textile segments Strengthen distributor, buyer, and agent engagement models Improve sales force effectiveness, incentives, and performance tracking Create and standardize SOPs for sales, marketing, and order management Enable CRM / ERP alignment for better visibility, forecasting, and decision-making Train and mentor sales teams, agents, and channel partners Requirements 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing within the textile or apparel industry Strong understanding of textile value chains (spinning, weaving, processing, garmenting, exports) Experience working with dealers, exporters, buying houses, and institutional buyers Proven track record in building and scaling sales teams and distribution networks Hands-on exposure to pricing, margins, seasonality, and demand forecasting Experience in training and mentoring sales teams or channel partners Ability to work independently and remotely Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Bachelor’s degree in Textiles, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields
