About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative 2D Motion Graphics Intern to join our production team. In this role, you will support our senior animators and creative directors in bringing stories to life. This is a fantastic opportunity to sharpen your skills in Adobe After Effects, learn professional animation workflows, and contribute to content watched by millions of children. Key Responsibilities Assist in Animation: Support the design and animation of characters, backgrounds, and scenes for the BabyBillion YouTube channel under the guidance of senior leads. Software Application: Utilize Adobe After Effects to execute animation tasks, focusing on character rigging and motion. Team Collaboration: Work closely with illustrators and creative directors to understand the storyboard and vision. Asset Management: Help organize project files and assets to ensure a smooth workflow for the entire team. Learning & Application: Apply fundamental animation principles (Squash & Stretch, Timing, Spacing, Arcs) to your work and actively implement feedback to improve quality. Visual Storytelling: Help translate concepts into engaging visuals that capture the attention of a young audience. Requirements Education: Current student or recent graduate in Animation, Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, or a related field. Software Skills: Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects is essential. Familiarity with character rigging is a strong plus. Animation Fundamentals: A solid grasp of the 12 principles of animation and 2D motion. Portfolio: A showreel or portfolio demonstrating your animation skills (class projects and personal work are welcome). Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills in English, a keen eye for detail, and a strong desire to learn. Attitude: Proactive, organized, and deadline-oriented.
