Join our simulation team to work on cutting-edge projects that shape the future of home appliances and energy-efficient solutions.Role OverviewYou will do low-frequency electromagnetic simulations and motor development projects for advanced electrical systems. This role involves design optimization, multiphysics analysis, and prototyping to deliver high-performance, cost-effective solutions.Key Responsibilities- Handle tasks related to: - ✔ In-house motor development projects - ✔ Electromagnetic simulations for ACB, MCCB, RCB & MCB - ✔ Low-frequency simulations like Wireless Power Transfer (WPT), Induction Thermal - Perform FEA calculations in 2D & 3D for design validation. - Characterize machine performance for sizing and performance estimation using analytical tools. - Optimize motor design considering multiphysics aspects (thermal, structural, NVH). - Proficiency in ANSYS Motor-CAD, ANSYS Maxwell, ANSYS OptiSlang. - Automate workflows using Python for customization and efficiency. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Thermal, Structural, NVH) to meet design specifications. - Support prototyping and manufacturing for proof-of-concept verification. - Conduct testing and analysis to optimize PMSM and other motor types for efficiency. - Perform tear-down and benchmarking of motors. - Continuously evaluate new technologies for power-dense, efficient, low-cost motor designs. - Expertise in BLDC, PCB motors, magnet-less motors (SyncRel, Switched Reluctance, Induction motors) for home appliances (Ceiling Fans, Mixers, Grinders, Air Conditioners). - Ensure motor supplier collaboration and performance compliance. - Knowledge of motor material selection, soft magnetic composites, HRE-free magnets.Qualifications- M.Tech or Ph.D. in Electrical Machines / Electrical Engineering. - 5–10 years of experience in motor development and electromagnetic simulations. - Strong understanding of low-frequency electromagnetic fundamentals. - Hands-on experience with ANSYS Maxwell, Motor-CAD, OptiSlang.
