In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and delivering exceptional service throughout their visit.Key Responsibilities :Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, prep areas, and storage spaces.Ensure proper waste disposal, recycling, and adherence to sanitation guidelines.Restock clean dishes, glassware, and kitchen tools in designated areas.Assist with receiving and storing food supplies and kitchen inventory.Operate dishwashing machines and follow proper cleaning procedures.Support chefs and cooks by providing necessary equipment in a timely manner.Follow all safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe working environment.Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.Perform occasional food prep tasks as assigned (depending on workplace). Skills :Previous experience in a stewarding or kitchen helper role preferred but not required.Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety regulations.Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.Basic communication skills.Ability to stand, lift, and carry items for extended periods.
